Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests in all recreational activities and areas by expressing an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude. Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities, activities, lessons, and equipment. Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility to ensure the safety and welfare of guests and members. Oversee activities in the recreational facility, respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedures in the event of an emergency, and provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
Obtain, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures. Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment, and inform the supervisor/manager of low supply items. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Develop and maintain positive working relationships. Comply with quality assurance standards. Read and verify information in various formats (e.g., small print). Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects. Use computers and/or point of sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Navigate over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
