Responsibilities
- As a legal counsel, play a pivotal role in building Plug and Play's presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Handle a wide range of corporate, venture capital, and technology law matters.
- Work closely with the global legal team in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Negotiate & draft sophisticated agreements and transactions for corporate partnerships, venture capital investments, and more.
- Collaborate with the EMEA business teams to provide legal guidance and support across our 30 offices.
- Engage with international corporations, governments, startup founders, and attorneys.
- Conduct legal research and stay informed on evolving legal landscapes across different jurisdictions.
- Be a trusted advisor within a collaborative and supportive legal team, contributing to projects from start to finish and fostering a positive team culture.
Required Experience
- Qualified Professional: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB/JD) from a recognized European or US law school.
- 4–6 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Experience in preparing, managing, and evaluating Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in German or French is a significant plus.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear, actionable advice.
- Self-starter: proactive, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
