MEDICAL EDITOR - EVIDERA:- We are looking to fill this role remotely in one of the specified locations: UK, Spain, France, Belgium, CanadaThe Editorial & Design Services (EDS) team is a group of highly skilled medical editors and graphic designers whose technical proficiency, focus on quality, and professionalism support a variety of study documents at each level of client engagement. Our experienced medical editors improve overall readability and ensure that a final result is clean, accurate, logical, consistent, and impactful. Our expert graphic designers work with internal and external clients to transform complex scientific information into highly designed, meaningful imagery.:Position Overview:- Have a solid working knowledge of English grammar and technical editing conventions. Keen eye for detail- Demonstrate proficient communication, organizational, and time management skills to meet multiple, often competing projects- Ideally have experience working in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare spaces:Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):- Formats and copyedits projects to meet applicable quality standards, including Evidera’s in-house style guide- Designs poster content using Adobe InDesign and/or PowerPoint- Creates basic charts and graphics, as requested- Manages time efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of quality results to customersEducation, Professional Skills, & Experience:- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) and at least 2 years of editorial experience, with an emphasis on copyediting, preferably in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare spaces- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office package, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, Adobe InDesign, and/or EndNote is a plus:Personal Skills & Competencies:- Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management skills- Demonstrates effective communication skills, professionalism, and responsiveness with teammates and internal customers- Works independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, timeline -driven environmentWho we are?Evidera is a business within Pharmaceutical Product Development, LLC (PPD), a leading global contract research organization (CRO), and is a preeminent provider of evidence-based solutions.
