What is it like to be a Structural Analysis Engineer at DHV Technology?As a Structural Analysis Engineer at DHV Technology, you will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical integrity and performance of our satellite subsystems through advanced numerical simulations and structural analyses. Working closely with mechanical, thermal, and systems engineering teams, you will perform finite element simulations, hand calculations interpret complex results, and provide key insights for design optimization in high-reliability space applications.You will play a crucial role in the development of flight hardware, from early conceptual phases to final qualification, contributing directly to the mechanical design and validation of our aerospace products.ResponsibilitiesPerform FEM-based structural simulations (2D/3D) for components, subassemblies, and complete systems.Define appropriate boundary conditions and load cases according to mission requirements and ECSS standards.Carry out modal, quasi-static, random vibration, sinusoidal vibracion, shock, vibro-acoustic, thermoeslastic and non-linear analyses.Analyze results: stress states, displacements, deformations, safety margins, etc.Provide design feedback, propose improvements, and support optimization loops with design engineers.Generate detailed technical reports, including input data, assumptions, post-processing results, and design recommendations.Collaborate in mechanical qualification campaigns and correlation between tests and simulations.Support internal process standardization and continuous improvement in structural analysis methodologies.Job RequirementsAcademic Background:University degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.Professional Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural analysis using FEM tools.Proven background in modelling and simulation of complex mechanical systems.Previous experience in the space sector is highly valued.Knowledge and Skills:Proficiency in FEM software: Nastran NX + FEMAP (or similar tools).Strong understanding of material behaviour (metallics and composites).Experience with ECSS standards and documentation is a plus.Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving mindset.Desirable:Familiarity with shock analysis and vibro-acoustic simulations.Knowledge of environmental testing methods and correlation procedures.Languages:Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written), used daily for technical documentation and communication.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Relocation package for national and international mobility.Work alongside a highly qualified and international team in the space industry.Participation in meaningful and cutting-edge space missions.Professional development and training opportunities.Immediate start.Join DHV Technology and shape the future of satellite engineering through simulation excellence.
