Instructional Content Designer

This position is part of the Global Technical Learning team and involves designing meaningful learning experiences and creating digital learning content to ensure knowledge transfer for field-based jobs. The primary purpose of this role is to develop product learning programs that build practical skills among our field-based employees worldwide. The role includes designing digital learning content such as video tutorials, animations, and utilizing multimedia tools to enhance the learning process.
Main tasks:
* Learning program development: Design and implement engaging learning programs end-to-end for engineering and technical service employees, including roll-out plans, measurement, and maintenance.
* Instructional design alignment: Ensure programs are aligned with instructional methodologies, using needs analysis to create meaningful learning experiences that transfer knowledge effectively to field workers.
* Operational content creation: Develop visually appealing and effective materials, manage multimedia production like animations and videos, with proficiency in graphic design tools; script clear learning content in English.
* Stakeholder management/coordination: Effectively communicate and coordinate with teams including SMEs, animators, and global stakeholders across different time zones and cultures.
* Project planning & execution: Manage complex projects using traditional and agile approaches.
Mobility needs you
Education: Master’s degree or higher in instructional design (preferred), education, marketing, business administration, communications, or technology. If the Master’s is not in instructional design, postgraduate education or training in instructional design or learning methodologies is required. Additional education in project management or content creation is a plus.
Knowledge and experience:
* At least 5 years in an instructional design role.
* Knowledge of instructional design methodologies.
* Experience with project management methodologies.
* Familiarity with learning technologies such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Suite (including After Effects), SuccessFactors LMS, AI-supported creation tools, and video shooting equipment.
* Experience in reporting learning effectiveness using recognized methods and tools.
* Strong scripting and content creation skills, with the ability to lead project teams involving animators, SMEs, and business stakeholders.
