Position Overview
Ibiza Gallery is seeking a dynamic, customer‑focused Sales Assistant to support retail and visitor engagement during the high‑season period from April to October 2026. This role requires an individual with a passion for service, an eye for aesthetics, and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast‑paced, premium environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
* Greet and assist customers with a warm, welcoming approach.
* Provide detailed product information and guide customers through the gallery’s offerings.
* Support the selling process by identifying visitor needs and recommending suitable items or artworks.
* Maintain exceptional service standards to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Handle customer inquiries, reservations, and special requests promptly.
Gallery Presentation & Maintenance
* Ensure the gallery floor is visually appealing, organized, and aligned with brand standards.
* Assist with product/artwork arrangement, labeling, and display updates.
* Maintain cleanliness and order across all visitor areas and internal spaces.
* Monitor product condition and report damages or maintenance needs.
Operations & Administration
* Support daily opening and closing procedures.
* Process sales transactions accurately through POS systems.
* Assist with stock management, including receiving goods, tagging, and restocking.
* Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
* Support gallery events, exhibitions, and special activities when required.
Customer Relationship Management
* Build rapport with visitors and maintain a friendly, knowledgeable presence.
* Capture customer data for CRM purposes in accordance with privacy protocols.
* Assist in after‑sales support, inquiries, and follow‑ups when needed.
Qualifications & Skills
* Previous retail, hospitality, or gallery sales experience preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Customer‑centric mindset with a natural sense of service.
* Ability to multitask and remain composed during peak periods.
* Fluent in English; additional languages (Spanish, Italian, French) are an advantage.
* Basic POS / digital systems proficiency.
* Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a premium environment.
