The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs Assistant with a scientific background to support the development of a comprehensive ingredient regulatory database for cosmetic products. This temporary role is ideal for a junior professional with strong technical and regulatory understanding, looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and international environment.
What you'll get to do
* Assist in building and structuring a regulatory database for cosmetic ingredients.
* Collect, analyze, and interpret ingredient regulations across EU and international markets (e.G., China, USA, Korea…).
* Evaluate ingredient acceptability based on: Product application, Target population Existing bans and restrictions…
* Review and interpret regulatory texts and official lists (e.G., Annexes of EU Cosmetic Regulation, international equivalents).
* Work autonomously with minimal supervision, managing tasks and timelines efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills:
* Education: Degree in a scientific field (e.G., Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Toxicology).
* Experience: Entry-level or junior profile with some exposure to regulatory affairs
* Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Technical Skills:
* Understanding of cosmetic regulatory frameworks (EU Regulation 1223/2009 and others).
* Ability to read and interpret regulatory and technical documents.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Excel or database tools is a plus.
