Design the electronics that make space imaging possible.
At SATLANTIS, we design advanced optical and space technologies to solve global challenges from above. We develop high-performance satellite payloads where electronics reliability, precision, and speed are mission-critical.
We're offering the opportunity to join our Electronics team as an Electronics Engineer, taking ownership of high-speed electronic subsystems from concept to validation in cutting-edge space missions.
La descripción completa del puesto cubre todas las habilidades asociadas, la experiencia previa y cualquier cualificación que se espera que tengan los solicitantes.
What's in it for you
* Real impact in space missions: Your designs will be part of high-performance satellite payloads operating in real space environments.
* Technically demanding challenges: You'll work on high-speed electronics where signal integrity, power, thermal, and mechanical constraints truly matter.
* End-to-end ownership: From requirements and schematic design to integration, testing, and validation. You'll see your work fly.
* Autonomy and trust: You'll lead your designs with independence, supported by a team of highly skilled engineers.
* Flexible working hours: Organize your time with autonomy in a culture based on responsibility and trust.
* Private health insurance: Comprehensive healthcare coverage to support your wellbeing.
Your mission
Your mission will be to design, develop, integrate, and validate high-speed electronic subsystems that are critical to the performance and reliability of SATLANTIS satellite payloads.
Through your work, you'll ensure that complex electronic designs meet demanding space requirements, reducing technical risks and enabling high-quality Earth-observation missions.
In this role, you will:
* Design high-speed electronic systems, from requirements analysis to fabrication and assembly documentation.
* Define components, stack-ups, controlled impedance, and power-sizing strategies for complex PCBs.
* Integrate, test, and troubleshoot electronic subsystems using laboratory instrumentation, ensuring performance and robustness.
What will set you up for success
* Strong background in high-speed electronics design: Your experience designing high-speed PCBs (including controlled impedance and multi-layer stack-ups) allows you to tackle complex signal-integrity challenges with confidence.
* Ability to design complete electronic systems: You're comfortable owning the full design cycle: requirements analysis, component selection, schematic/PCB design, and coordination with mechanical and thermal constraints.
* Hands-on laboratory expertise: Your ability to troubleshoot with oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and other lab equipment helps you validate designs and solve real-world issues efficiently.
* Experience with ECAD tools: Working with professional ECAD software (preferably Altium Designer) enables you to create clean, manufacturable, and well-documented designs.
* Communication and interface design skills Experience with high-speed protocols (PCIe, GbE, DDR, CameraLink) and low-speed buses (QSPI, I2C, UART, CAN) allows you to design robust system interfaces.
* Senior-level perspective is a plus: More than 3 years of experience in high-speed electronics, multi-layer PCBs (6+ layers), version control systems (Git), or SoC/FPGA-related schematic and PCB design will help you make a strong impact from day one.
* Collaborative and solution-oriented mindset: You enjoy working in teams, approaching challenges creatively, and communicating fluently in English within international technical environments.
