We are partnering with a global software company to hire a Senior Fullstack Developer with strong expertise in Laravel (8+) and hands-on experience with Vue.
This role is ideal for engineers who value code quality, architectural consistency, and long‐term product stability over short-lived trends.
Role Overview
As part of a highly skilled engineering team, you will:
* Build and maintain scalable backend services using Laravel and PHP.
* Develop and integrate REST APIs.
* Contribute to architectural decisions and apply SOLID principles and clean design.
* Work with relational databases (MySQL) and modern dev tooling.
* Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams in an international environment.
* Occasionally travel to customer sites abroad.
Core Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
* 5+ years of experience developing applications with Laravel (8+).
* Strong professional background in PHP.
* Solid database knowledge (MySQL; familiarity with NoSQL is a plus).
* Experience using and designing REST APIs.
* Familiarity with OpenAPI / Swagger, Postman, and Linux.
* Strong understanding of design patterns and best coding practices.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Mandatory: Availability to work onsite 2 days/week in Madrid.
* Mandatory: Valid work authorization in Spain.
* A mature, pragmatic, engineering-first mindset.
Bonus Skills (Highly Valued)
* Experience integrating or orchestrating AI / Machine Learning models.
* Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, or LLM-powered workflows.
* Strong experience with Vue for frontend components.
Qualifications
* Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
* Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
