Multinational company, leader in its sector with a wide international presence, is looking for a GLOBAL PEOPLE OPERATIONS MANAGER at its corporate headquarters in Barcelona. Being part of the Corporate People Area, he / she will take on the following responsibilities:
* Developing the strategic objectives of People Operations processes (employment contracts, payroll, compensation & benefits, labour relations, HR analytics...), ensuring alignment with the business / organization strategic objectives and plans.
* Developing strategic and tactical steps in line with the organization and People Operations plan strategic objectives.
* Partnering with key business leaders to advise on key initiatives to drive the strategic objectives of the People Operations plan.
* Holding ownership over People Operations processes through ensuring that key initiatives are executed and implemented on the ground (such as recognition programs, compensation analysis, external benchmarking and salary planning exercises).
* Owning the hiring of key People Operations team members to ensure effective execution of the area processes on the ground across the operating regions.
* Leading Employee Relations issues, including relations with the works council, negotiation, investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievance resolution, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Coordination and control of the BPO for Payroll in different countries, as well as ensuring perfect processing internally at the local level.
* Create and maintain employee administration systems to ensure accurate and comprehensive employee information and KPI’s.
* Health, Safety and Wellbeing and Labour Risk Prevention areas are also under his / her responsibility.
Requirements:
* Education: High University Degree in Law, Labour Relations, Business Administration or others, if the experience is appropriate for the position.
* Experience: At least 8 years of experience in a similar role, in a multinational environment, having led transformation projects.
* Payroll internalization / outsourcing projects along with multisite management.
* Languages: Spanish and English C1 minimum.
* Strategic vision, commitment, goal orientation, leadership and flexibility. Analytical. Impact and influence capacity. Change management and innovation orientation.
