Position purpose
The Stock Manager is responsible for managing the back‑of‑house and shop‑floor operations, including deliveries, transfers, Farfetch and stockroom organization, ensuring all stock management HOK procedures are followed. The supervisor also has the responsibility of providing a safe working and shopping environment.
Key Accountabilities
* Manage stock, ensuring deliveries, transfers and returns processed on the POS system.
* Inform the Store Manager of any delivery/stock discrepancies and follow up with Retail support.
* Ensure Farfetch orders are processed daily and KPI targets achieved.
* Filing paperwork correctly and as per the House of Karl procedures.
* Prioritize deliveries based on style/product group turnover, peak trading times, promotions.
* Manage stock team, ensuring efficient communication and training.
* Process defective items and customer returns.
* Give feedback to Store Manager about necessary stock to maintain full product availability.
* Maintain a tidy and organized stockroom and shop‑floor storage with a clear system.
* Know best‑selling and slow‑selling items and ensure accessibility.
* Ensure efficient replenishment on shop floor at all times.
* Have excellent product knowledge (sizes, colors, styles).
* Stay informed on product availability, reorder dates, and liaise with Merchandising team about product needs.
* Maintain safety of aisles and stockroom; take action if associates act unsafely.
* Follow loss‑prevention procedures and reduce shrink (cycle inventories, security tagging).
* Treat all associates and customers with respect.
* Drive sales through knowledge of the business.
Profile
* Stock control and stock‑takes experience.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Fluent in English & Spanish.
* Enthusiastic, pro‑active and customer‑focused.
* Good communication and social skills.
* Team player & team‑management experience.
* Fashion experience desired but not mandatory.
