SAP FICO Business Analyst, Remote (EU) – International Organisation

DESCRIPTION: The SAP FICO Business Analyst role requires a senior professional with more than eight years of SAP FICO experience and at least three years working as a Business Analyst. The position involves independently and proactively supporting the full implementation lifecycle by translating business requirements into functional SAP solutions. The analyst will work closely with business units to validate and interpret needs, manage and assess change requests, support testing activities, and provide hypercare assistance. The role demands strong expertise in SAP, particularly S/4HANA, and active contribution as a key Business Analyst during the onboarding of a new company onto an existing general ledger system. Additional expectations include maintaining clear communication in English, collaborating effectively across teams, and owning all functional deliverables from initial requirements gathering through go‑live. The project is scheduled to start in May 2026 with a go‑live target of mid‑2027 (dates subject to change).
Tasks
* Translate business requirements into functional SAP FICO solutions throughout the implementation lifecycle.
* Align with business units to validate needs and ensure proper interpretation of requirements.
* Manage, assess, and document change requests.
* Support all testing activities, including preparation, execution, and defect follow‑up.
* Provide hypercare support after key project milestones.
* Act as a key Business Analyst for onboarding a new company into an existing general ledger system.
* Maintain ownership of functional deliverables from initial requirements gathering through go‑live.
* Ensure clear communication in English and collaborate effectively across all involved teams.
Specific Expertise
* More than eight years of professional experience in SAP FICO.
* At least three years of experience as a Business Analyst.
* Strong expertise in SAP, with particular focus on S/4HANA.
* Ability to work independently and proactively within an implementation environment.
* Experience supporting full lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, solutions design, testing support, change request management, and hypercare.
* Strong communication skills in English and effective cross‑team collaboration abilities.
* Experience contributing as a Business Analyst during company onboarding to an existing general ledger.
