While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we’re focusing on Madrid so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
This role is a 6 month engagement, working full-time hours.
About The Role
As a Copywriter, you’ll craft clear, compelling, and locally relevant content for performance marketing campaigns, Meta ad creatives, high-impact partnerships and campaigns. You'll work on evergreen initiatives to ensure a seamless flow of messaging between markets. Please note, this role requires fluency in French & Spanish, with professional level English. Collaborating closely with designers and marketers, you’ll help shape Canva’s voice in Europe and bring creative ideas to life.
What You’ll Do
* Write engaging copy in French and Spanish for marketing materials across campaigns in performance marketing, strategic partnerships, brand, events, social media, community, and other channels.
* Localize Canva’s global messaging to ensure it resonates with diverse Europe audiences.
* Ideate, write, and review content for Truly Local campaigns — spanning performance, brand, experiential, and social initiatives.
* Partner with designers, video editors, and content creators to deliver high-quality, on-brand creative assets.
* Support content development for events, tutorials, and product launches tailored to local markets.
* Use performance data, market trends, and competitor insights to inform creative direction and optimize content across channels (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
* Collaborate with external partners, providing guidance and feedback to maintain brand and messaging consistency.
* Manage creative deliverables, ensuring cohesive tone, style, and quality across all platforms.
