Regional Sales Manager – Southern Europe (Iberia) to develop the EV charging market and support the introduction of our Commercial & Industrial Energy Storage solutions in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Performance
- Achieve assigned regional sales targets including contract value and revenue collection.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline to ensure continuous business growth.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Iberian market, including Spain and Portugal.
- Promote and sell EV charging solutions and Commercial & Industrial ESS products.
- Manage pricing strategies, commercial negotiations, and project profitability.
- Customer Development & Key Account Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers including CPOs, EPC companies, energy companies, and distributors.
- Identify and acquire new customers to expand the regional market presence.
- Manage existing customers to increase long‑term cooperation and repeat business.
- Ensure a professional customer experience from initial contact through project delivery.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams including technical support, product management, logistics, and after‑sales service to support project execution.
- Coordinate internal resources to support large projects and public tenders.
- Ensure smooth communication between customers and internal departments.
- Market Development & Intelligence
- Monitor EV charging and energy storage market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the Iberian region.
- Provide regular market feedback and strategic insights to support business development.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Energy, Business, or related fields.
- At least 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in EV charging, renewable energy, electrical equipment, or energy infrastructure industries.
- Experience in solution‑based sales, managing complex projects rather than standardized products.
- Proven ability to develop new markets and acquire first customers in new regions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently within Spain and Portugal.
- Fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
- Candidates must already have legal residence and work authorization in the EU.
