Position Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Functional QA Analyst with interest and experience in functional testing to support business‑critical applications across multiple modules. This role is adecuado for candidates looking to grow in the intersection between business analysis and software quality assurance, gaining hands‑on experience in agile and hybrid environments.
The position operates within Scrum‑based delivery cycles, including the definition and validation of business use cases in 12‑month iterations. The QA Analyst will work closely with local champions, project managers, product owners, deployment managers and other stakeholders globally to ensure the quality and consistency of business functionalities using tools such as Jira and X‑RAY.
Main responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to define and understand business requirements.
- Translate requirements into testable use cases and functional scenarios.
- Design, execute, and track functional test cases using Jira and X‑RAY.
- Identify defects and support resolution in collaboration with product owners and developers.
- Analyze data and process integration across modules to ensure end‑to‑end consistency.
- Participate and contribute to backlog refinement from a testing perspective.
- Assist in coordinating testing timelines and validating deliverables in a hybrid (agile‑waterfall) environment.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Academic or professional background in Information Technology (IT), Information Systems (IS), or related fields.
- 3‑4 years of experience in functional testing and software validation, ideally within hybrid environments.
- Experience in functional testing and software validation.
- Basic knowledge of Jira and familiarity with the X‑RAY testing module (training and support available).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Detail‑oriented with a commitment to delivering high‑quality results.
- Comfortable communicating with both technical and business stakeholders (minimum B2 English level).
- Capable of working independently and taking initiative.
- Willingness to learn and grow in testing methodologies and QA practices.
