Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced account manager responsible for developing new clients and conducting solution-selling.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy and Execution: Identify prospects, develop quarterly sales plans, analyze cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue.
2. Customer Engagement and Consultative Selling: Understand customer needs, follow up on leads within 24 hours, maintain ongoing communication, attend meetings and trade shows.
3. Proposal Development and Contract Management: Create price quotations, prepare contracts, and submit documentation timely.
4. Collaboration and Handoff Coordination: Work with installation teams to ensure smooth project transitions and monitor product status.
5. Sales Tools and Reporting: Use databases for client tracking, provide sales forecasts, and participate in meetings sharing insights.
6. Marketing and Outreach Initiatives: Design prospecting tools, build relationships with manufacturer teams, and participate in training.
Skills and Abilities
* 8-10 years of direct selling experience in AV/VTC preferred.
* Track record in selling Video Conferencing, Managed Services, and Network Infrastructure.
* Experience with network services, unified communications, VoIP, SIP, H.323, Cisco Telepresence, and related products.
* Ability to demonstrate visual collaboration products and services.
* Strong multitasking, confidentiality, communication, and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
