A Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, accessing, bidding and winning new business opportunities for the group. We are a service company looking for project opportunities as well as new long-term accounts.

The position requires previous experience in the industry and a wide network of accessible contacts in these regions.
General objectives
Review, understand and align with the company's general and regional business development strategy and goals.
Generate business development opportunities by contacting people on the network.
Generate business development opportunities by leveraging opportunities brought by other channels (Hexagon, Partners, Marketing).
Work with Marketing to create marketing campaigns and other marketing content/material.
Help EMEA management to direct sales in the region by identifying areas of opportunity (Data Centres, New Construction, Retail, etc.).
Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager or similar senior sales role. Extensive network of contacts.
Skills and experience to create project proposals.
Experience in selling lump sum and staff augmentation projects.
Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
Familiarity with CRM software.
Identifying promising prospects through cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals.
Maintaining accurate records of the total number of sales made, potential and existing customers, as well as sales employee performance evaluations.
Conducting in-depth research on competitors' products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.
Regional Business Development Sales Manager Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in the AEC industry or in business or marketing.
Proficiency in all Google and or Microsoft Office applications as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
