Barcelona-based Socialpoint seeks a Backends Engineer to develop and scale game services used by millions of players worldwide. You will work across backend tech, refactor legacy code, and collaborate with mobile, data, and systems teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure for live games. You’ll contribute to technical designs, documentation, and knowledge sharing while aligning with the company’s tech strategy. This role offers the chance to shape scalable, reliable systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will help drive impactful engineering decisions that support popular game experiences.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Maintain, extend, and refactor backend services across Golang, PHP, AWS EC2, Kubernetes.

Responsabilidades
• At least 3 years of experience as a Backend Engineer
• Proficiency in PHP and Golang
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain backend code
• Experience managing infrastructure and understanding runtime behavior
• Strong communication for explaining complex problems to technical and non-technical audiences
• Focus on scalability, performance, and reliability
