Overview
As our future Back-end Engineer, you will translate business requirements into technical specifications and design and implement data architectures, models, and data flow with the integration of relational and Big Data technologies. You will contribute to the technological evolution of the data solution by defining components and will handle the back-end development of functionalities to ensure solution delivery. You will design, deploy, and maintain applications with a microservices architecture and monitor releases under Agile principles.
Responsibilities
You are responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications
You design and implement data architectures, models, and data flow with the integration of relational and Big Data technologies.
You take care of the technological evolution of the data solution by defining components.
You take care of the back-end development of the functionalities included in specifications to ensure solution delivery.
You design, deploy, and maintain applications with a microservices architecture .
You are responsible for monitoring the releases defined under the Agile principles.
Your profile
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Engineering, and at least 3 years of experience in a similar position preferably within the IT and/or consultancy industry, with the availability to work HYBRID from Madrid.
Qualifications
Back-end technologies: Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot), Hibernate ORM
Basic knowledge of integrations with NoSQL/ SQL .
Familiarity with microservices-related technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes )
Continuous integration tools: Maven, Jenkins, Git
Best practices: SOLID, TDD, Design Patterns, Refactoring
Preferred technologies (optional)
Databases and Big Data Technologies: Elasticsearch, Kafka, Kafka Connect, Redis, Spark (Streaming & Dataframes), HDFS, HBase
Graph and Semantic Web: GraphDB, RDF, OWL, SPARQL
Front-end technologies: Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSS
