At Mercedes-Benz Parts Logistic Iberica, we are seeking a Life Cycle Planner.
You will be responsible for all planning activities within the Life Cycle planning processes, including production and parts relocations, procurement cost optimization, insolvencies, and production phasing out. Your role involves finding solutions and developing concepts for the logistical and economic management of the Life Cycle processes.
Main responsibilities include:
1. Coordinating and managing business transactions within the Life Cycle procurement processes.
2. Developing solutions and drafts (logistics and administrative) to execute relocations and insolvencies worldwide, collaborating with interfaces such as Technical, Development, Product Management, Purchasing, MB Plants, and Controlling.
3. Assessing discontinuation and pricing requests from external suppliers and devising economic solutions.
4. Serving as the contact person within GSP / OD for all bridge and final purchases of spare parts within the regular assortment.
5. Preparing presentations for GSP management, adhering to existing regulations and approval levels.
Minimum requirements:
1. University degree in Logistics or Business Administration.
2. Extensive knowledge of processes within the entire GCSP supply chain.
3. Analytical, structured, and target-oriented approach.
4. Negotiation skills across relevant interfaces (technical, purchasing, marketing).
5. Conflict resolution and analytical problem-solving skills.
6. Resilience and flexibility outside standard processes.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
8. Fluent in Spanish and English; proficiency in German is preferred.
9. High social competence.
