Position Summary: The Financial Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company’s manufacturing operations, ensuring financial stability, strategic planning, and compliance with corporate governance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to the management team, driving profitability, optimizing resources, and ensuring robust financial controls. Key Responsibilities: Lead the financial strategy for manufacturing operations, aligning with business and group objectives. Develop and execute financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support operational and strategic business goals. Manage cost control initiatives, improving efficiency and profitability within the manufacturing division. Provide financial leadership for capital investment decisions, including expansion projects and new technology implementations. Oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and corporate policies. Monitor and manage financial risks, ensuring robust internal controls and governance frameworks. Lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships related to manufacturing operations. Optimize working capital management, including inventory control, procurement, and supplier negotiations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and operations, to enhance financial performance. Serve as a key liaison between the company and the group finance function, ensuring alignment with corporate financial policies. Key Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Extensive experience (10 years) in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in manufacturing. Strong understanding of cost accounting, lean manufacturing principles, and supply chain finance. Proven track record in financial planning, risk management, and driving operational efficiency. Experience in a multinational environment, working within a matrixed organizational structure. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly to stakeholders. Familiarity with ERP systems and digital transformation initiatives within finance.
