The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of hotel accommodation third‑party suppliers, acting as the main point of contact between Stayforlong and its partners. The role is highly commercial, with a strong focus on relationship management, negotiation, and revenue growth, including the negotiation of commercial conditions, overrides, and performance improvements. The KAM will work closely with internal teams to ensure supplier performance aligns with Stayforlong’s business objectives.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of bedbanks, acting as their main point of contact and ensuring a strong, long‑term relationship.
Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, including override agreements, improved commercial conditions, promotions and exclusive deals, and volume‑based incentives.
Monitor supplier performance from a commercial perspective (sales, availability, competitiveness) and proactively propose actions to increase revenue and visibility.
Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and develop strategies to increase production, conversion, and profitability.
Build trust‑based relationships with suppliers through regular communication, follow‑ups, business reviews, and strategic discussions.
Work closely with internal teams (Supply Operations, Finance, Marketing, Tech when needed) to ensure negotiated agreements are correctly implemented and followed.
Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and supplier strategies to maintain Stayforlong’s competitive positioning.
What you need to have:
4–5 years of experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, or similar commercial role, preferably in the travel, hospitality, OTA, or marketplace environment.
Highly developed commercial, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with experience negotiating financial conditions and overrides.
Solid communication and relationship management skills.
Results‑oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
Analytical mindset to understand performance data (no technical/API background required).
Fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
Nice to have:
Experience working with hotel suppliers, bedbanks, or OTAs.
Understanding of hotel distribution or online marketplaces.
Experience managing international accounts.
Knowledge about optimization.
