:
1. Provide independently on-site and remote scientific application support & training support on flow cytometry instruments
2. Perform product demonstrations and training at customer or company sites; deliver product line specific pre-sales activities
3. Prepare and present seminars to wide array of audiences
4. Support the organization in the achievement of the regional commercial, service and support goals
5. Tackle customer partner concerns optimally through in-depth troubleshooting
6. Remain up to date with product and ground-breaking scientific know-how and work in line with our Support & Service Competencies
7. Play a meaningful role when introducing and supporting new products and applications
Keys to Success:
Education
MSc or PhD in Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Stem Cell Biology, Biotechnology or related scientific field
Experience
8. Experienced working with flow cytometry instruments
9. Laboratory experience to include expertise in sample preparation, compensation and accurate controls
10. Experience in presenting technical materials in written and verbal form
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
11. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems
12. Customer-facing experience is an asset; good commercial insight and demeanour required
13. Proven track record to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical reports and apply mathematical and statistical data analysis
14. Strong communication skills; capable of interacting with a diverse population of internal and external contact in English
Travel:
15. Flexibility to travel throughout area of responsibility (50-75% of the time)
16. Valid driving license
