About the Role
Loomis is looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst (BA) to join our talented BA Team. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions by analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and facilitating the design of system solutions. As a BA you will work closely with stakeholders, including business users, project managers, and technical teams, to ensure that project objectives are met and that delivered solutions align with business goals. You'll need to understand and articulate how IT applications integrate into other systems and develop a deep understanding of our organization's diverse operational processes over time.
This role will be primarily remote, giving you the chance to be part of a modern, global IT organization and collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries. You will also have the option to work from the nearest office in your country whenever you prefer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, document, and analyze business requirements. Translate needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
* Document current and future states using relevant tools and frameworks. Support efficiency and workflow optimization.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders across departments. Act as a liaison between business units and IT to maintain alignment.
* Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations.
* Conduct detailed analysis and process mapping.
* Develop and maintain system requirements, use cases, and user stories.
* Perform gap analyses and provide recommendations for solution design.
* Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
* Prepare structured and comprehensive documentation in Wiki/Jira. Ensure documentation is accurate, updated, and accessible.
* Support testing phases by providing acceptance criteria. Participate in UAT and assist QA teams in creating test cases.
Who We Are Looking For
* 3–5 years of relevant experience with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to understand complex requirements and translate them into clear system specifications.
* Experience with Agile methodologies.
* Previous exposure to tools such as Jira and Confluence.
* Comfortable working independently and collaborating in an international, cross-functional team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Comfortable working in a fully remote, international setting.
* Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to travel when needed (approximately 2-3 times a year).
