£18,196 - £19,395 You will work within Kirklees Specialist Outreach (Educational Psychology and Early Years SEND Support Service), sited in the Learning and Early Support service area. Specialist Outreach is made up of 4 strands: Sensory (Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Physical Impairment), Complex Communication and Interaction, Social, Emotional and Mental Health and Cognition & Learning based both centrally in Kirklees and at specialist provisions in schools. The service works with parents, schools and other agencies to support children’s special educational needs and this role provides specialist business support to the strand leads and teams supporting mainstream schools across Kirklees to meet the needs of children and young people. The Business Support Officer function demands a high-level communications skills and professionalism, and to provide support where required. You must be a self–motivated and organised individual with the ability to work as part of a busy team. The tasks are varied and require an element of flexibility. These include processing referrals, panel administration support, action note taking, mailbox management, facilitation of meetings, room bookings and supporting events. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to deal with members of the public and other professional bodies, as well as building and maintaining effective working relationships with teams in different sites, your work will involve resolving and responding to a variety of queries and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
