Descripción del trabajo
As HR Business Partner (HRBP) (f / m / d), you will be responsible for aligning the organization’s people strategy with its business strategy. You will oversee the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment, onboarding, career development to off-boarding—for the Barbastro site. In collaboration with line managers, you will set priorities, promote values, and deliver business results.
This position is located in Barbastro, Spain. On-site presence is required.
Job Responsibilities :
* Manage the integrity of HR data and process all changes in personnel information, salary, and compensation, including end-to-end payroll processing.
* Implement and manage both the Chemical Collective Bargaining Agreement and local company agreements when applicable.
* Onboard new employees, develop induction and training programs, and manage succession planning.
* Handle and resolve complex employee relations issues, including performance management, organizational changes, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
* Monitor, analyze, and report various metrics at the plant level, such as labor costs, absence rates, benefits, turnover, overtime, open positions, and CEO pay ratio.
* Lead relations with the Works Council, balancing employee requests with business objectives.
* Implement Westlake HR procedures and strategies locally.
* Drive recurrent Westlake corporate HR processes.
* Participate as a member of the site management team, contributing to local decision-making to improve and optimize the organization.
Qualifications :
* Bachelor’s Degree and over 5 years of progressive professional HR experience, preferably in an industrial and international environment.
* Up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations, as well as other legal requirements regarding people management.
* Conflict management and negotiation skills.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently, design, and optimize work processes, and results-driven attitude.
* Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English (preferably C1 level).
* Proficiency in Windows-based software, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
