With operations in more than 30 countries, they provide essential materials to industries. /ppbr/ppAs a bSenior Accountant /b, you will be responsible for the full accounting cycle of French legal entities, including: /ppbr/pulliEnsure accuracy and compliance of accounting records in line with IFRS and French GAAP, including verification of balances, reconciliations, provisions, stock movements, and loan updates. /liliPrepare and record journal entries for assets, liabilities, stock, revenue, and expenses following Group policies and work instructions. /liliMaintain balanced accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies. /liliReview and validate travel and expense claims to ensure correctness and compliance. /liliEnsure month‑end and year‑end closings are properly executed, including reconciliation of balance sheet items with complete supporting documentation. /liliPrepare and coordinate financial reports in accordance with IFRS, Sibelco Group reporting standards, and local statutory requirements. /liliSupport and coordinate with internal and external auditors during the annual audit process. /liliPrepare VAT and other tax filings, support external tax advisors, and manage tax inspections. /liliContribute to process improvements and participate in the implementation of new tools and systems. /liliPerform additional tasks as required by management. /li /ulpbr/ppbWhat We’re Looking For /b /ppbr/pulli8+ years of experience in in financial accounting/audit role being able to cover accounting general ledger, full Balance Sheet aspects /liliMaster is Accounting, CPA/CIMA, CPC-AECA (Spanish diploma), DESCF (French diploma) /liliIdeally with experience of manufacturing organization(s), complex international organizations /liliA plus if has worked in France /liliStrong knowledge of IFRS and ideally French GAAP /liliExperience in international or manufacturing environments /liliProficiency in SAP and Excel; knowledge of reporting tools (e.g., Tagetik, OneStream) is a plus /liliFluent in bFrench and English /b (Spanish is a plus) /liliDetail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative mindset /li /ulpbr/ppThe company offers a supportive culture, opportunities for development, and the chance to be part of an international team. /ppbr/ppIf you're looking for a meaningful next step in your accounting career—where you can grow, contribute, and be part of a global transformation—this is your opportunity.
