We're looking for an International Purchasing Specialist for Travel to play a key role in the unification of our international travel project and to ensure a seamless, high-quality travel experience for employees across International 1 (ES, PT, IT, CH, BE, NL, LUX, DK, SE, FI).Role OverviewThis role combines project implementation, strategic purchasing, and long-term travel management. You will lead the rollout of a unified self-booking tool, establish harmonized travel policies, and later take ownership as Team Lead for Travel International 1.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the implementation of a unified self-booking tool and travel policies across International 1Collaborate with international stakeholders to ensure smooth adoptionSupport and train users during the transition phaseMonitor user experience and continuously improve travel processesTake ownership of all International 1 travel initiatives as Team LeadNegotiate hotel and travel supplier agreements to optimize costs and service qualityManage vendor relationships and escalationsAnalyze travel reports to identify trends and cost-saving opportunitiesEnsure ongoing support and policy compliance for all travelersCollaborate cross-functionally to align travel with broader business strategiesQualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)Experience in international purchasing, travel management, or similar rolesSolid understanding of travel-related topicsStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsAnalytical mindset with experience in data analysis and reportingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills in multicultural environmentsProactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced settingFluent in English; additional EU languages are a plus (Spanish, Italian, French)Interested or know someone who could be a good fit?
