We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance SAP SuccessFactors Consultant with a strong technical focus on People Analytics and Reporting to join a fully remote, international project.
This role is ideal for a hands-on expert who can own the configuration and continuous optimization of the SAP SuccessFactors reporting landscape across a large-scale, global environment.
Project Overview
You will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining reporting solutions across the full SAP SuccessFactors suite, supporting HR, IT, and Data stakeholders. The environment covers over 100,000 employees worldwide and requires scalable, standardized, and high-performance reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Configure and maintain reporting within SAP SuccessFactors (Stories, Canvas, and Tables with Macros) across the full suite: Core HR, Performance, Compensation, Talent, Succession Planning, LMS
* Build and optimize queries using People Analytics, including calculated columns, filters, prompts, and metric definitions
* Develop and enhance Canvas and Table reports, including advanced macro usage
* Translate business and functional reporting requirements into technical system solutions
* Maintain metric logic and reporting calculations
* Perform data reconciliation and root cause analysis for reporting discrepancies
* Provide technical support to users where required
* Optimize report performance and usability
* Troubleshoot and continuously enhance the existing reporting landscape, collaborating with SAP support when needed
* Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for the reporting domain
Required Skills and Experience
* 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors reporting tools (Stories, Canvas, Tables), ideally across multiple modules such as Employee Central, Compensation, LMS, Performance, Talent, and Succession
* Strong expertise in People Analytics configuration and optimization
* Deep understanding of SuccessFactors data structures and HR object relationships
* Proven ability to convert functional requirements into scalable technical reporting solutions
* Experience working with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Data)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
* Very good level of English (spoken and written)
* Experience with Workforce Analytics or other reporting tools is a strong advantage
