As a DevOps Engineer in the IT department of Inkomen Collectief, you will play a key role in promoting and establishing DevOps principles and practices throughout our teams. Join us and be a part of our exciting journey as we transform the way we work and deliver value to our customers.
Your Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes across environments.
Collaborate with development teams to streamline the software delivery process and improve deployment workflows.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Monitor system performance and reliability, implementing proactive alerting, logging, and observability solutions.
Ensure security best practices are applied across pipelines, environments, and cloud resources (DevSecOps).
Troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure issues to ensure high system availability.
Contribute to migration initiatives, including application migrations to Azure/AWS, decommissioning legacy components, and restructuring cloud accounts/subscriptions.

You bring relevant knowledge and experience (3‑5+ years) and you have the right mindset to always keep learning and improving.

You like to share your knowledge with colleagues and help them to embrace DevOps mindset.
Additionally You Possess
Advanced proficiency in Azure DevOps and proven track record in creating and optimizing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
High level of experience in the technologies that we use: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Argo CD.
Experience with implementing and using OpenTelemetry and Grafana stack.
Proven proficiency in at least one scripting language (preferably Python).
Experience with GitOps deployment management.
Experience with Java 21+
Experience with REST and API development
Knowledge of OpenAPI specifications
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
Containerization using Docker
Kubernetes for container orchestration
Azure DevOps for pipelines, repository management, and release processes
Cloud‑native design principles
Considered a Plus
Hands‑on experience with database configuration and administration (PostgreSQL).
Demonstrated history with Azure cloud.
Experience with FinOps and cost management practices.
Understanding of cloud security practices.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
