Functions
We are currently seeking a Quality Director responsible for the Spanish market. You will oversee the implementation of Quality and Food Safety Policies across Spain, ensuring compliance with standards and objectives in all Spanish plants. Your key responsibilities include:
1. Coordinating with various departments, customers, and suppliers to monitor and improve Quality and Food Safety aspects, establishing specific improvement projects.
2. Leading improvement teams to resolve issues proactively by identifying root causes and applying tools like TPM, Q-First, and Agility.
3. Approving new technologies and analytical methods in collaboration with R&D and Innovation teams.
4. Representing the company with official bodies, authorities, and associations concerning Quality and Food Safety.
5. Supervising the application of policies and procedures related to Clients, Consumers, Risk Management, and Authorities.
6. Auditing and ensuring proper implementation of QSE policies (Food Safety HACCP & GMPs, safety of personnel and facilities).
7. Ensuring compliance with all legal licenses and certificates related to Q&E in the plants.
8. Leading Crisis Committees when necessary.
9. Implementing continuous improvement tools to enhance company reputation, reduce costs, and improve systems, including employee training and audits.
10. Verifying product conformity according to internal specifications.
11. Implementing R&D and Quality procedures at the site level related to production.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* University degree in Veterinary, Biology, Chemistry, or Food Technology.
* Minimum of 7 years' experience in management, processes, and quality within the food industry.
* Experience in multinational companies.
* Results-oriented with strong skills in change management, organization, leadership, and problem-solving.
* Proficiency in English.
* Willingness to travel.
