We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff/Engineer that shares our passion and excitement of operating distributed services at enterprise scale using cloud native best practices. You will have a part in the disruption of the health care industry and will help deliver better patient care.
Responsibilities As an MTS engineer in our team, you’ll be required to have and apply your experience in the following:
Object-oriented programming languages: Java and Python
Distributed design systems
Databases: RDBMS and NoSQL
Troubleshooting / debugging
Algorithms
DevOps

As part of the Oracle Health Shared Platform Services team, you will interact with many consumers of our services who depend on us to develop scalable and resilient backend services. You will be required to :
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs using databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications.
Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.
Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and software processes.
Required qualifications BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of software engineering or related experience
Minimum 1 year of developing and shipping enterprise distributed and/or cloud native systems
Professional fluency in English (C1 minimum)
Grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems architectural best practices
Demonstrated ability to write great code in Java, Python, or similar OO languages
Experience with web application development using microservices frameworks such as Helidon, Dropwizard, Spring, etc.
Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
Strong desire to make an impact and thrive in collaborative and energetic environments
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and through design aspects
