Are you an experienced Camunda 8 BPM backend developer?
At Qaracter, we are looking for a Camunda 8 and Java/Spring Boot specialist. Join a backend team building critical workflow and process automation platforms in a large‐scale financial environment. and modern cloud‐native architecture.
What You'll Do
* Design, implement, and maintain BPMN workflows using Camunda Platform 8.
* Integrate Camunda workflows with external systems via REST APIs.
* Develop and maintain backend services in Java (17+) and Spring Boot within microservices architectures.
* Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring proper data modeling and performance optimization.
* Analyze logs, metrics, and traces to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
* Collaborate closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to build scalable, reliable solutions.
What We're Looking For
* 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Camunda 8 and BPMN-based workflows.
* Strong background in Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring ecosystem.
* Experience integrating backend services using RESTful APIs.
* Solid understanding of microservices-based architectures.
* Experience with observability tools such as ElasticSearch, Kibana, Dynatrace, or similar.
* Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills in distributed systems.
* Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical decisions
* English level B2+/C1
Nice to Have
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Jenkins).
* Hands-on experience with AWS or OpenShift environments.
* Familiarity with containerized deployments and cloud-native principles.
* Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
* Additional experience with cloud platforms.
