Transformation and Optimization Lead
Job Summary
We are seeking a transformative leader to reimagine and optimize our Global TechOps and Support organization, driving high performance teams, breaking silos, and optimizing costs through strategic budget management.
The Transformation and Optimization Lead will develop and implement transformation plans, ensuring alignment with department objectives and strategic priorities. This role will focus on eliminating fragmentation, cultivating high performance teams, building AI-driven strategies, and managing strategic initiatives focused on identifying and implementing new value streams and cost savings opportunities. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, has a futuristic mindset understanding business evolution, and is capable of designing future-state models, solving complex problems, and transforming global teams. They should have a proven track record of making tough decisions and driving measurable business value. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions and lead change initiatives aligned with long-term business strategy and customer-centric outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Transformation and Initiative Management
* Design and implement a comprehensive transformation strategy for a unified global operating model, assessing the current state and defining the future state across locations.
* Develop a roadmap for process optimization, leveraging AI and data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
* Identify industry trends and collaborate with department leaders to recommend changes and improvements.
* Participate in projects to improve performance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
* Lead change management efforts, ensuring stakeholder engagement and support.
* Evaluate and implement technology solutions to support transformation initiatives.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement through feedback and optimization.
High Performance Team Building
* Cultivate and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams focused on innovation and value creation.
* Make tough decisions that drive strategic goals and operational excellence.
* Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and strategic thinking.
AI and Data-Driven Strategies
* Identify AI capabilities and develop strategies to integrate these into business processes.
* Build and execute AI strategies to enhance support delivery, including analytics and automation.
* Use data insights to identify customer pain points and optimize workflows.
* Develop team expertise to solve complex customer challenges and create value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Innovation
* Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to develop innovative solutions.
* Influence key decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
* Create analytical solutions to problems and develop innovative approaches.
Cost Optimization and Budget Management
* Work with senior management to develop cost measurement techniques for various cost drivers.
* Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor costs and support data-driven decisions.
Performance Management and MBOs
* Implement measurable Management by Objectives to align teams with strategic goals.
* Establish KPIs to track progress, performance, and customer satisfaction.
* Optimize team structure and processes for agility and scalability.
Stakeholder Engagement and Executive Presentations
* Partner with leadership to align initiatives with company strategy and customer success.
* Collaborate with global teams for consistent adoption of initiatives.
* Act as a change agent, communicating vision and driving buy-in.
* Develop presentations for leadership to share strategies and recommendations.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
* 10+ years of experience in support, technology operations, or transformation roles in a large global organization, preferably with B2B platform knowledge.
* Proven experience in leading global transformation, strategy execution, change management, and process improvement, with at least 3 years in a managerial or strategic consultant role.
* Project Management or Change Management certification preferred.
* Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach.
* Good understanding of AI, automation, and data platforms in technical support contexts.
* Experience in team restructuring and performance goal management.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Results-driven with the ability to lead through complexity and ambiguity.
* Experience in transforming siloed support ecosystems into unified models.
* Ability to build high-performing global teams and make tough decisions.
* Passion for solving customer challenges through innovation.
