Artemisa lends its name to this project, which aims to promote the creation and use of techniques and tools necessary to understand and address the challenges of digital security, while fostering the active participation and empowerment of women in the field of cybersecurity.
The expected start date is November 1st 2025, the job is based in Barcelona.
Objectives of the project:
* Generate knowledge and train professionals capable of analyzing, evaluating, and mitigating security risks in digital environments.
* Raise awareness among organizations and individuals about the importance of adopting robust security measures in their digital environments.
* Promote the adoption of good cybersecurity practices in business, governmental, and personal spheres.
* Encourage the participation of more women in the field of cybersecurity by ensuring equal opportunities and promoting diversity and inclusion.
* Support research and development of new techniques and tools in the field of cybersecurity, generating new knowledge and sharing it with society
To achieve these objectives, Artemis operates through three main branches:
1. Research:
o Development of techniques and tools in cybersecurity and cryptography.
o Continuous training for faculty and researchers.
o Participation in international conferences and congresses.
2. Education:
o Training in essential and up-to-date knowledge and skills to tackle security challenges in the digital world.
o Promoting cybersecurity education by creating educational audiovisual materials, setting up a cyber-range laboratory, introducing a special mention in cybersecurity, awarding scholarships and prizes for undergraduate projects, and more.
3. Outreach:
o Organizing and participating in various events and activities such as workshops for children, participation in round tables, congresses, interviews, and more.
Tasks to be performed:
Job description: We are looking for a professional to support research projects in the area of Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), especially in its implementation in Machine Learning (ML) models.
Main tasks:
1. Literature review on ZKPs and protocols that apply them to ML models.
2. Design and implementation of protocols that apply ZKPs to ML models.
3. Contribution to writing papers, reports, and project deliverables.
4. Build demos and assist with internal/external presentations.
5. Team coordination and light project admin tasks.
The duration of these tasks is estimated over a period of 5 months.
Type of contract: Indefinida segons previst RD 32/2021 de 28 de desembre de 2021./ Indefinite according to RD 32/2021 of December 28, 2021.
Dedication and working hours: Temps parcial (20h/setmana)/ Part time (20h/week).
Group and complement: Grup 3 + Nivell l/ Group 3 - Level l
Planned remuneration approx: 19.109,84 € brut per any/ 19.109,84 € gross per year.

Requirements:
* To be currently pursuing or to have recently completed the Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Computer Engineering.
* Provable proficiency in Catalan, Spanish and English.

Selection criteria: Candidates will be assessed through a CV evaluation and, where appropriate, a short technical test and/or interview. Maximum score is 100 points, allocated as follows:
1. Academic training (0-40 points):
1. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (currently pursuing or having recently completed).
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering (currently pursuing or having recently completed).
3. Academic excellence.

1. Experience in research groups.
2. Participation in research projects related to the study of Zero-Knowledge proofs applied to Machine Learning models.
3. Experience presenting complex mathematical ideas.

2. Proficiency in technical English (reading and writing).
The minimum score to pass the selection process is 70 points. The candidate with the highest score in the selection process will be offered the job.
