Responsibilities
* Based within the Food & Beverage Department, is responsible for ensuring exceptional service and smooth daily operations across the restaurant and lounge.
* Ensure that all Legendary Quality standards are implemented and maintained throughout the restaurant and lounge.
* Monitor service delivery by following action plans for LQS and Richey in order to meet and exceed guest expectations.
* Drive the training and employee development concept to promote a climate of enthusiasm and encouragement.
* Ensure effective inter-departmental communication to achieve efficient teamwork and accurate guest information.
* Liaise with the assistant Director to monitor sales strategies and maximise revenue while ensuring guest satisfaction.
* Monitor beverage stock to ensure sales accuracy and continuous delivery of beverages for guests.
* Control labour costs and departmental expenses through effective planning.
* Attend scheduled meetings and conduct team briefings to ensure effective communication.
* Prepare rosters aligned with business needs to guarantee efficient service delivery.
* Oversee table plans according to reservations and maintain smooth service throughout the guest experience.
* Proactively respond to guest feedback and manage guest correspondence to ensure full satisfaction.
* Maximise revenue through up-selling by guiding guests with their choices.
* Maintain the physical features and appearance of the restaurant to required standards.
* Conduct appraisals, orientations, training, counselling and disciplinary procedures in line with MO standards and Spanish legislation.
* Liaise with the Training Manager on departmental training needs.
* Perform any other reasonable requests as directed by the manager.
Health & Safety
* Comply with safe working practices as laid down by the Health & Safety at Work Act and the Hotel’s H&S Manual.
* Adhere to food safety regulations and wear protective clothing when required.
* Report defects and accidents following hotel procedures.
* Attend fire and safety training and instruct colleagues on H&S standards.
What We Expect from You
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a luxury hotel.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Excellent knowledge of F&B service and luxury hospitality standards.
* Highly responsible, reliable, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Customer-oriented, with the ability to focus attention on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous.
* Fluent in English and Spanish (Catalan valued).
