Currently, the resort is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to join its esteemed culinary team, further enhancing its commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the culinary operations ensuring guests are provided with an outstanding experience
2. Ensure the food is prepared, plated, and served efficiently and to the highest standards
3. Recruit a high performing team. Train staff in proper cooking techniques and adherence to recipes and quality standards
4. Establish appropriate staffing levels and conduct daily shift briefings with culinary team members
5. Manage inventory, labour and food costs
Chef de Cuisine Qualifications:
6. European culinary experience, with knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine
7. Must have 5-star resort background
8. Island and Caribbean experience are a big advantage
9. Ability to lead others and hold your own in a fast-paced environment
10. A well-rounded and creative culinary professional who can support and inspire team members
11. Detail orientated professional with excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills. Comfortable talking directly with guests
