We're hiring for Senior SEO Consultant.
Tasks in the roleWorking with our sales team, you will : Audit potential clients to identify SEO strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threatsUse these insights to inform our sales team & contribute to pitch decksJoin pitches with prospective clientsAssist sales in building SEO roadmaps & pricing up projects accordingly for successful pitchesWorking with our Customer Success team, you will : Assess client websites & develop SEO strategies to bring the greatest value to the client's business (encompassing all areas of SEO—technical, content, local, international, etc.
)Project manage client accounts, running communications such as weekly calls / QBRs / monthly reporting sessions as required by the clientEnsure SEO projects are prioritized & facilitated where required (writing JIRA tickets, building processes, etc.
)Produce SEO deliverables in line with the overarching SEO strategy, e.g., technical auditing, content auditing, monthly reports, traffic drop analysis, implementation impact reviews, etc.Audit existing software-only clients to identify opportunities for SEO consultancy (both upselling consultancy packages & utilizing existing consultancy credits)Educate the Customer Success team to independently identify opportunities for consultancyProvide industry insights (e.g., algorithm updates) to assist upselling discussions with clientsCreate briefs & brief out SEO projects from clients to freelancersManage communications between clients and freelancersProject manage to ensure freelancer work is delivered on scheduleQA freelancer deliverables to meet the brief and quality standardsWho we are looking forProven experience as an SEO consultant covering all pillars of SEO (at least 5 years)Experience managing large SEO accounts, ideally within a digital agency or large in-house teamExperience pitching SEO services & responding to RFPsExperience with large agencies and international brandsExperience with Enterprise clients across various industriesStrong skills in both content and technical SEOOrganizational & project management skillsProblem-solving abilities & a proactive approach to tasksBenefitsUnlimited PTOFlexi Benefit for hobbiesEmployee Support ProgramFamily member financial aidEmployee Resource GroupsOffice snacks and drinksTeambuilding activitiesTraining, courses, conferencesGifts for employeesAbout SemrushSemrush is a leading SaaS platform for online visibility management, enabling businesses worldwide to optimize search engine marketing, content, social media, and competitive research.
