Office manager / operations assistant position at club globals (barcelona)

What We Need

Weâre looking for someone who can help keep the wheels turning at Club GLOBALS,

whoâs organised, reliable, and happy to take things off our plate without needing a

huge amount of direction.

Who:

ï· Sees what needs doing and gets it done

ï· Can bring order to chaos without creating more of it

ï· Enjoys working behind the scenes to make events, projects, and people run
smoothly

We run events, support a integral community of tech leaders, and partner with

startups, corporations, and institutions. Itâs exciting, fast-moving and often messy.

Key Responsibilities

ï· Keep the founders focused on what matters

ï· Manage day-to-day operations: office, schedules, tools, systems

ï· Liaise with service providers

ï· Lead coordination for events (logistics, RSVPs, vendors, wrap-up)

ï· Support internal comms and team alignment (whatâs happening, whoâs doing

it, when)

ï· Coordinate volunteers and interns (onboarding and day-to-day)

ï· Organise and maintain shared systems

ï· Spot gaps before they become problems and quietly solve them

Requirements

What You Need to Bring

ï· Proven experience in operations, project coordination, or startup support

ï· Great time management and communication skills

ï· Confidence managing up

ï· Resourcefulness: figure things out when thereâs no manual

ï· A calm head in fast-moving, slightly chaotic environments

ï· Comfort working independently, but with strong team instincts

ï· Tech comfort: Google Workspace, AI, Notion, Event tools

ï· Solid written English and confident interpersonal communication

Nice-to-Haves (but not essential)

ï· Experience with basic social media scheduling

ï· Comfort with using AI tools or task trackers

ï· Some event planning or community building
