Overview Field Service Engineer Radiology - Galicia. Field Service Engineer for DR and CR equipment. This position performs technical service and support day-to-day on Agfa and 3rd party products and systems to customers. The employee will be based from home and will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment. The individual must be customer focused, able to work independently or as part of a team, and interact professionally with colleagues, customers and third party trades.What You'll Do (Responsibilities) Install and modify Agfa and 3rd party products (DR and CR)Troubleshoot Agfa and 3rd party products, repair and replace on-site and remotelyAssist R&D and HQ in problem solving and risk analysisTrain the customersEscalate to 2nd and 3rd tier support when necessaryManage and perform preventive/corrective maintenance on Agfa products reporting according to proceduresAssist internal and external customers on technical questions and issues on-site and remotelyIdentify opportunities for up-selling Agfa Services and Products and pass on upselling opportunities to sales as requiredManage return of equipment and parts in a compliant timely manner to company proceduresWho You Are (Qualifications) Education University degree in Engineering / Electronics / Biomedical / Mechatronics or relatedX-Ray operator license could be a plusExperience Min. 3 years of experience installing and maintaining medical devices/healthcare products, especially X-ray/DR systemsExperience with networking and remote diagnosis software systemsExperience working safely with electromechanical systemsProject management skills could be a plusSpecific skills Languages: Spanish (native level) and English (at least B2); Valencian/Catalan desirableProactivity, flexibility, independence, initiative; able to adapt to short-notice changesAttention to detail, strong self-motivation, good communication, willingness to travel dailyAbility to fault-find basic electronics to component level and strong analytical skillsKnowledge of X-Ray/DR and Windows 7/10Full driving license – willingness to travel daily within the country and occasionally to other European countriesWhat We Offer Now and In the Future Dynamic global organization with a history of innovation and strong product portfolioChallenging environment with supportive managementCompetitive salary and benefits packageFriendly work environment with dedicated colleaguesDiversity and Inclusion At Agfa, our mission is to ensure that everyone belongs.
