As Commissioning Manager, you will oversee planning, execution and completion of commissioning activities for large, complex industrial electrical projects. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient operation and compliance with specifications. The role blends technical leadership with collaboration across project managers, engineering, construction, vendors, and clients. You will drive integration from construction to operation and contribute to Hitachi Energy’s energy transition goals. This is a hybrid role based in Europe with travel to project sites.

• Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules and procedures including test scripts and protocols
• Lead and supervise commissioning teams (internal or external) ensuring on-time delivery and quality
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering, construction, vendors, and clients for seamless system integration
• Oversee pre-commissioning, functional testing, performance testing, and integrated system testing activities
• Identify and troubleshoot commissioning issues with engineering and operations to implement robust fixes
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, environmental policies, and internal procedures
• Review design documents, vendor data, and construction progress to anticipate challenges and mitigate risks
• Facilitate client acceptance testing and provide training to operational personnel
• Prepare and present progress reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming activities
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or relevant)
• xpzdshu 8-10 years of progressive commissioning experience in complex industrial environments
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary commissioning teams and large-scale projects
• Knowledge of industrial systems, control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA), and instrumentation
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and P&IDs
• Strong problem-solving and methodical troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required
