At ING, we are looking for a Non‑Financial Risk Specialist to join our Non‑Financial Risk Team in Spain. In the role of NFR Specialist, you will report to the Head of NFR.
Key Responsibilities
Be a trusted NFR advisor towards IT and Business management.
Support, challenge and monitor NFR risk management processes and quality.
Participate in and challenge risk assessments on key strategic projects and programs.
Support the Business and IT management on issue identification, risk rating assessment, action definition and follow‑up until issue solving.
Contribute to the development, maintenance and roll‑out of the NFR Frameworks, Policies, Minimum Standards and Procedures.
Perform Quality Assurance or deep‑dive reviews as part of second‑line monitoring.
Identify external/internal developments, initiatives and threats and translate them proactively into the risk strategy.
Monitor the design and effectiveness of controls.
Contribute to the identification of the impact of and the coordination of responses to law and regulatory changes, ECB reports, etc., and monitor the follow‑up of regulatory issue solving.
Support the Head of NFR with research, assessing the risk profile of the organization and reporting to Senior Management.
Generate awareness related to risk management within the organization.
Develop and maintain training modules and train the IT / business community.

Qualifications
Approximately 5 years of experience as an NFR specialist.
University degree or equivalent.
Professional education and multiple international certifications for risk management.
Insight into digital banking, related processes, IT applications and regulations, with specific experience in Business banking.
Experience in end‑to‑end process analysis to identify and assess NFR risks, including root‑cause analysis.
Expertise in testing methodologies.
Collaboration skills and ability to work across functions and countries.
Sound risk criteria: ability to be firm when needed and show flexibility when possible.
Excellent analytical skills.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Communication and influence.
Persuasiveness and assertiveness.
