Senior Procurement System Consultant
We are currently recruiting a Senior Procurement System Consultant to join our team and contribute to key projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation Phase
- Participate actively in Coupa deployment projects across the full lifecycle: blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover planning, go‑live, and hypercare.
- Translate business requirements into hands‑on system configuration and functional solutions.
- Support integration and data readiness activities in collaboration with external partners.
- Contribute to System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training preparation, and deployment readiness.
- Ensure the solution is aligned with procurement policies, internal controls, and best practices.
- Solution Management & Post Go‑Live Support
- Act as the internal Coupa “go‑to” expert for business users and key stakeholders.
- Provide functional support for production issues, change requests, and new business needs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot procurement system performance, stability, and usability.
- Ensure procurement solutions remain reliable, secure, compliant, and scalable over time.
- Maintain strong documentation of configurations, processes, and solution design decisions.
- Process Transformation & Optimization
- Lead initiatives to transform and optimize procurement processes, improving user performance, data quality, integrity, and compliance.
- Identify and evaluate process improvement and automation opportunities across procurement workflows.
- Produce high‑quality functional specifications and process documentation.
- Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary and international teams.
- Coordinate external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with business leaders, guiding them through system changes and best practices.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Coupa certifications in S2P (Source‑to‑Pay) and/or P2P (Procure‑to‑Pay).
- Alternatively, SAP Certifications in Sourcing and/or Procurement or other relevant procurement modules.
- Spanish: High level.
- English: High level (C1 or equivalent).
Experience and Technical Skills
- 3–5+ years of experience in roles related to procurement applications and solutions implementation and support.
- Process improvement and automation in procurement and/or supply chain.
- Proven hands‑on experience working inside procurement platforms, ideally Coupa; experience with other solutions such as SAP (Ariba or ECC – S/4 HANA in Procurement Modules) is also valued.
- Strong experience supporting production systems, including user support, enhancements, and continuous improvement.
- Experience in procurement process improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience in procurement projects (preferably with Coupa or, failing that, SAP Ariba or ECC – S/4 HANA), with the ability to:
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
- Develop functional specifications, process maps, and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of procurement modules and processes (experience in maintenance processes is a plus).
- Solid understanding of procurement business processes (e.g., supplier onboarding, sourcing, purchasing, and logistics execution).
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating cross‑functional teams, including external consultants and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize process improvement and optimization opportunities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide business leaders and key users.
Key Competencies
- Support end‑to‑end Coupa procurement project, from initial design through to deployment and hypercare.
- Act as internal Coupa expert, working closely with business users, building strong knowledge of how the system is configured and operated and ensuring adherence to IT best practices.
- Configure and maintain workflows, fields, forms, catalogs, and procurement reporting within Coupa.
- Drive process transformation and optimization, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing scalable solutions.
- Act as a trusted partner to key users and business leaders, advising on end‑to‑end procurement processes and solution design.
- Help ensure our procurement solutions are reliable, secure, compliant, and high performing.
- Location: Seville, Spain.
