CUSTOMER RETENTION SPECIALIST (INTERIM)

Temporary Position

Revelyst – Adventure Sports Group Europe is a fast-growing action sports company that prides itself on attracting passionate and talented individuals. We are looking for a data-driven, creative and customer-focused Customer Retention Specialist (Interim) to join our E-Commerce team at our Barcelona HQ.

This is a temporary position designed to support our E-Commerce team during a transitional period. The role is key to optimizing the consumer journey and strengthening long-term relationships with our customers across multiple digital channels. You will play a critical role in increasing customer loyalty, driving repeat purchases and maximizing customer lifetime value through CRM and retention strategies.

The main tasks of the position are:

The Customer Retention Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing CRM strategies that enhance the customer experience and improve retention performance across our European brands.

CRM & Email Marketing

- Manage and optimize email marketing programs to improve customer retention and lifetime value

- Support the future implementation and development of SMS marketing initiatives

- Build and execute segmented and broadcast email campaigns

- Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on schedule

Retention Strategy & Customer Journey

- Develop and maintain the global retention calendar, aligning with seasonal launches, product stories and brand initiatives

- Create customer segmentation strategies based on RFM analysis and consumer behavior insights

- Identify opportunities to improve engagement and repeat purchase rates throughout the customer lifecycle

Data Analysis & Consumer Insights

- Analyze CRM and e-commerce data to identify trends and growth opportunities

- Monitor key retention and digital performance KPIs

- Generate campaign reports and provide actionable business insights

- Support decision-making through a data-driven approach

Database Growth & Loyalty Programs

- Drive database growth and lead generation initiatives through campaigns and promotional activities

- Collaborate on loyalty programs and brand initiatives that increase long-term customer engagement

- Identify new opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and retention strategies

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Design, Marketing and Merchandising teams to ensure timely campaign execution

- Coordinate campaign assets, QA processes and landing page readiness

- Stay up to date with CRM best practices, emerging technologies and competitor strategies

Position requirements:

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce or a related field

- Minimum 3 years of experience in CRM, Email Marketing or Customer Retention, ideally within retail or e-commerce

- Advanced knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, HubSpot or Mailchimp

- Strong understanding of digital marketing funnels and customer lifecycle strategies

- Experience analyzing campaign performance and customer behavior data

- Understanding of email analytics and mobile-first communication best practices

- Advanced English;
an additional European language is a plus

- Experience with Google Analytics is a plus
