With the integration of Deimos and strategic participation in Hispasat and Hisdesat, we are scaling Europe’s space autonomy and contributing to flagship programs like strong IRIS², Galileo, EGNOS, and Copernicus /strong. /p pstrong What will you do? /strong /p ulli Define and lead the satellite power and data distribution architecture, including interface boards, umbilicals, power distribution units and conversion electronics. /lili Translate mission requirements into power and data distribution concepts, grounding strategies and EMC performance criteria. /lili Lead trade-off analyses between architectures such as point-to-point, backplane or direct connection approaches. /lili Generate and maintain electrical, grounding, EMC, harness requirements, EICDs, and subsystem interface specifications. /lili Develop power budgets, energy balance analysis and end-of-life sizing for different mission scenarios. /lili Ensure compliance with mission reliability, redundancy and derating standards. /lili Coordinate harness procurement and development with internal teams and external suppliers. /lili Support AIT activities including functional, thermal vacuum and load test campaigns. /lili Act as technical authority during project reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR). /lili Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, VV and systems teams to define system-level specifications. /lili Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers. /lili Prepare system specifications, design reports, test plans and other technical documentation. /lili Work closely with procurement to provide technical assessment of supplied items. /lili Stay up to date with advancements in avionics, satellite design and space technologies to support innovation. /li /ul pstrong What are we looking for? /strong /p ulli A recognized engineering degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related fields. /lili Minimum 5 years of experience in satellite electrical design and development, including flight projects. /lili Strong knowledge of spacecraft solar arrays, battery technologies and power electronics. /lili Experience with regulated and unregulated power buses and peak power tracking. /lili Familiarity with industry standards (ECSS, MIL-STD, NASA). /lili Proficiency with system analysis tools such as MATLAB, Simulink or Altium. /lili Proven experience leading system design across the full lifecycle (concept to launch). /lili Experience in aeronautical/aerospace electrical architecture. /lili Familiarity with AIT campaigns for satellites and/or launchers. /lili Experience with EGSE and satellite test environments in phases C/D. /lili Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary engineering domains. /lili Excellent communication and leadership skills. /lili High-level English (spoken and written). /lili Availability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid. /li /ul p Don’t worry if you don’t meet 100% of the requirements.
