About the Role
We are currently looking for a Global Indirect Sourcing to join the procurement structure, taking ownership of strategic indirect categories with a strong focus on IT procurement. This is not a purely operational purchasing role. The company is looking for a procurement professional with a solid background in category management, strategic sourcing and stakeholder engagement, capable of acting as a true business partner within an evolving international environment.
The position offers the opportunity to actively contribute to a real global transformation project within a highly international and collaborative environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Define and implement category strategies across IT and other indirect spend categories within EMEA.
* Act as category owner for IT-related spend, driving supplier optimization, governance and long-term value creation.
* Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives including RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, supplier evaluation and contract negotiations.
* Identify opportunities for cost optimization, supplier consolidation and process improvement.
* Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across IT, Finance, HR, Legal and other business functions.
* Translate business needs into procurement strategies and sourcing initiatives.
* Act as a trusted advisor, balancing procurement best practices with operational realities.
* Monitor supplier market trends, risks and innovation opportunities.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a professional with:
* Solid experience within indirect procurement and strategic sourcing environments.
* Strong exposure to IT procurement categories such as software, SaaS, telecom, IT services or technology vendors.
* Experience in category management rather than purely operational purchasing roles.
* Proven stakeholder management and influencing capabilities within multinational organizations.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in matrix environments.
* A proactive, hands-on and adaptable mindset, comfortable working in evolving structures and helping build processes and best practices.
