SALES MANAGER
(Veterinary & Specialist Pet Retail Market)
Reporting to the
International Market Development Director
, the main responsibility will be driving the market entry and growth strategy across the Iberian Peninsula
(Spain and Portugal).
This is a hands-on, commercial role focused on building high-level relationships with veterinary professionals, distributors, and specialist retailers to ensure sustainable sales growth and brand dominance.
Tasks:
* End-to-End Sales Management:
Lead the entire sales process, from identifying "hunter" opportunities to successfully closing negotiations with key accounts (vet groups and retail chains).
* Strategic Growth:
Develop and execute the commercial strategy to hit sales targets and secure >80% market coverage through local distribution partners.
* Relationship & Network Building:
Strengthen ties with existing clients, professional dealers, KOLs, and influencers, including providing onsite tutorials.
* Marketing & Brand Awareness:
Localize B2B/B2C campaigns and represent the brand at key trade shows (min. 4/year) to drive professional education.
* Market Intelligence:
Analyze competition and market potential, maintaining precise CRM data and delivering quarterly strategic reports to HQ.
* Field Presence:
Frequent domestic travel to visit customers and partners (Hybrid role with high mobility).
Requirements:
* University degree, ideally in Business, Marketing, or Veterinary Science.
* Experience: Minimum 4+ years of sales and marketing experience within the Pet Care, Veterinary, or Animal Health industries.
* Proven track record of launching or scaling brands in the Spanish market.
* Strong existing network within veterinary clinics, wholesalers, and specialist pet retail.
* Excellent command of Spanish and English (Native/Fluent level).
* Willingness and availability to travel frequently.
* Results-driven mindset with the ability to work autonomously as the sole regional representative.
