Role Overview
The Senior Sales Engineer is a technical consultant supporting Thales CSP Data Security products and solutions. Working closely with sales teams, the role advocates Thales solutions and helps achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide presales technical support, collaborate with account teams to drive growth
* Identify customer needs, propose suitable Thales security solutions
* Work with CSP team to promote solutions in customer environments
* Advise customers on security best practices and compliance
* Prepare technical proposals and architecture documents
* Conduct technical workshops and training sessions
* Gather feedback for product enhancements
* Support product installations, configurations, and customer POCs
* Assist with partner product integration and testing
Candidate Requirements
* Business-centric mindset, customer success focus
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Minimum 10 years in IT/security roles, pre-sales or consulting experience
* Knowledge of government domain preferred
* Experience in solutioning and architecture for large organizations
* Strong understanding of database queries, cryptographic standards (PKCS, JCE, PKI)
* Experience with database monitoring, encryption, tokenization, DLP, PKI
* Knowledge of DevOps and secrets management is a plus
* Excellent communication skills
* CISSP or similar qualification advantageous
