Position Overview
The Finance Analyst in BP&A (Business, Planning, and Analysis) will support the Europe and Africa E-Systems division. The role involves coordinating and analyzing closing, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting requirements for the Electrical Europe & Africa Division. The analyst will identify and communicate business issues effectively, focusing on sales, operating income, volumes, cash management, and divisional reporting packages. Collaboration with various locations to improve standardization, completeness, and accuracy of reported information is essential.
Main Responsibilities:
* Consolidate sales and operating income walks; analyze variances in financial results, including LTA, pricing, CTO, performance, economics, and launch costs, to meet financial targets.
* Perform volume mix analysis and consolidation to understand margin changes due to program mix; monitor program conversions for proper trends and cadence within quarters.
* Manage program controlling with PPR (Platform Profitability Report); review and ensure OI margins align with expectations and quotes in APRs by product line and program; create platform walks to analyze variances YoY and forecast-to-forecast.
* Support BP&A team in understanding and communicating FCF deviations, analyze accrued liabilities, and ensure balance sheet accuracy.
* Complete forecast and close packages for corporate management.
* Participate in risk and opportunity meetings; support weekly P&L and FCF assessments.
* Ensure accurate reporting of restructuring actions, maintaining compliance with legal requirements.
* Provide management with accurate data for forecasts, presentations, and other requests.
Required Qualifications:
* Studies in Business or related fields.
* Four to five years of experience in accounting, consulting, or auditing.
* Strong teamwork skills.
