We are looking for Motorsport Business Manager who will be responsible for managing and growing BOLD's commercial relationships
with customers operating in motorsports and high-performance applications, across both BOLD Technologies and BOLD Applied Engineering.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, customer engagement, and business development. You will work directly with customers—often on-site—to fully understand their technical and commercial needs, ensure timely response to requirements, and unlock new opportunities with both existing and new accounts.
The position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and works closely with the CEO, playing a key role in shaping BOLD's presence and growth in the motorsports and performance sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage commercial relationships with motorsports and high-performance customers across both divisions
- Act as the primary customer interface, working closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure customer needs are captured and addressed in a timely manner
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including repeat business, upsell opportunities, and entry into new programs or projects
- Balance and adapt to the different business models of BOLD Technologies (products and manufacturing) and BOLD Applied Engineering (engineering services)
- Travel weekly to customer sites, working hand-in-hand with customer engineering and management teams
- Support proposal development, scope definition, and commercial negotiations in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Attend and represent BOLD at industry tradeshows and events, primarily in Europe and occasionally globally
- Build and maintain strong internal alignment with engineering, project management, and leadership teams to maximize business outcomes
- Act as a trusted partner to customers, proactively proposing solutions aligned with their technical and performance objectives

Minimum Qualifications And Experience
- Proven background in Formula 1 Design Engineering or Formula 1 Powertrains
- Strong understanding of the technical, operational, and commercial dynamics of top-level motorsports environments
- Extensive network within Formula 1 and high-performance industries
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with evolving priorities
- Comfortable operating across both engineering services and technology/product-based businesses
